Kilka fotek - Londyn i Windsor

Rodzinka juz pojechala i troche mi smutno, znow musze sie przyzwyczaic do cichego domu (maz nigdzie nie wyjechal, ale jednak jest duza roznica jak sa tylko dwie osoby, a nie piec;). Bylo bardzo fajnie, wesolo i gwarno, tylko szybko minely te dni.

Pokazalam rodzince moje okolice, odwiedzilismy tez Londyn i Windsor, ktory bardzo lubie:). Doszlam do wniosku, ze musze czasem wybrac sie poeksplorowac chociazby Londyn, nie przepadam za atrakcjami typowo turystycznymi, ale miasto ma tyle innych, ciekawych zakatkow. Fakt, ze nie jest super blisko, godzina pociagiem, ale powinnam sie zmobilizowac. Moze jak poprawi mi sie nastroj...

Tymczasem ponizej wklejam kilka zdjec z zeszlego tygodnia.

My family has left already and I am a bit sad, I have to get used to the quiet house again (my husband did not go anywhere, but it makes a big difference if there are only two people in the house compare to five;). We had a great time, it was fun and loud, only the time went by so quickly.

I showed them the area where I live, we also went to London and Windsor, which I like a lot:). I came to a conclusion that I should try and explore more, at least London - I am not a fan of typical, tourist attractions, but this city has got so many other, interesting parts. The thing is, it is not very close, 1 hour by train, but still I should pull myself together and do it. Maybe when I am in a better mood...

W ogrodku

Korzystajac z okazji, ze mialam dzis kilka godzin wolnego (rodzinka przyjedzie wieczorem, a bezczynne czekanie moze byc nudne;) wzielam sie za male prace ogrodowe. Co prawda bylo dzis troche chlodno, ale wciaz w miare slonecznie, wiec zbrojona w rekawice i maly sekator zabralam sie do roboty.
Oczyscilam ogrod z suchych resztek roslin i zajelam sie przycieciem suchych kwiatostanow hortensji (tu naleza sie podziekowania Ewie z Nastrojowego Ogrodu za cenne wskazowki:).

Using the opportunity of having a few hours of free time (my family is coming in the evening, and I got bored with idle waiting;) I decided to do some gardening work. It was a bit chilly today, but still quite sunny, so armed with gardening gloves and small pruning shears I got down to work.

I have been removing some dead, dry plants and cutting off the dead blooms of hydrangea (here I would like to say thank you to Ewa for the great tips:).

W trakcie odwiedzil mnie maly rudzik:). Bezceremonialnie usiadl sobie na glowie jednego z moich biednych elfow;).

During my work in the garden I had a little guest - robin:). He sat unceremoniously on one of my poor elves' head;).

W kazdym razie hortensja juz przycieta, odswiezona.

Mam nadzieje, ze odwdzieczy mi sie pozniej i zakwitnie tak pieknie jak w zeszlym roku...

Anyway, the hydrangea is pruned and refreshed.

I hope it will show its gratitude later and bloom as beautifully as last year...

Od dzis mam tydzien urlopu:), stad to nieco wyluzowane zdjecie... (przy okazji, jak widac, jestem zdecydowanie fanka pieciopalczastych, kolorowych skarpetek, polecam kazdemu na poprawe humoru przy porannym wstawaniu;).
Nie wyjezdzam nigdzie, ale jutro przyjezdzaja w odwiedziny moi rodzice z Polski i brat z Danii, i zostaja do konca miesiaca. Bardzo sie ciesze na te odwiedziny:).

A plan na dzis to wiosenne porzadki w calym domu. Musze przyznac, ze nie jest to moja ulubiona czynnosc, ale z wizja czystego, pachnacego wnetrza zabieram sie do roboty...

I have one week annual leave from today:), hence this a bit relaxed photo... (by the way, as you can see, I am definately a big fan of five-toe, colorful socks, I can recommend them to anyone for improving the mood when you have to get up early;).
I am not going anywhere, but tomorrow my parents from Poland and my brother from Denmark come to visit, they are going to stay here until the end of March. I am really looking forward to seeing them all:).

And the plan for today is spring cleaning of the whole house. I have to admit it is not my favourite thing to do, but with the image of clean, fragrant home in my head I am getting down to work...

Nie moglam sie powstrzymac, takie sliczne kwiatki rosna w moim malym ogrodku.
Szafirki, hiacynty, krokusy, tulipany...
Swiat bez kwiatow bylby naprawde szary i smutny.

I could not resist, there are such pretty flowers growing in my small garden.
Muscaris, hiacynths, crocuses, tulips...
The world without flowers would truly be grey and sad.
